Nails: China Glaze Shape Shifter

I'm so sorry guys! It's been two weeks since my last post. A week of that was just a hectic work schedule, which happens from time to time, and then another week was because my home internet connection went on the blink. I now have functioning internet (I set up a router all by myself: I guess that officially makes me a mega nerd!) and I'm ready to go!

So today I have one of the China Glaze Tranzitions polishes. For those who aren't familiar with the collection, they change colour when you apply a topcoat. It's a neat idea. I'm glad I went with Shape Shifter because the transition colour was really different to the base colour. Here it is.

Eyeshadow: red with holo glitter

I have something a little brighter and more colourful than most of my recent looks. I wore this to a concert (Tomahawk, in case you were wondering) so I wanted something a bit fun. I used some shadows I've had for a while as well as my new Milani glitter.

Nails: OPI Stay The Night (liquid sand)

Today I have my first liquid sand polish from OPI: Stay The Night. It's a black base with red glitter in it. I got a mini bottle of it. I had no idea what to expect, apart from the finished mani, which I'd seen on a couple of blogs. It was just like applying a regular polish, with the only difference being in the finish and how it dried.

Eyeshadow: shimmer & bronze liner

This look is from a week or so ago. I've used two of my new goodies from my big US makeup haul. This was when I was running late for work, which is why it's a kinda boring, simple look. I used a Lush eyeliner and Buxom cream eyeshadow and I love them both. I can't wait to use them again in a look that's a little more interesting than this.

Eyeshadow: dramatic smoky eye

I have something a little different today. It's a dark, dramatic smoky eye. Everyone does these but I'm actually really bad at them, so I'm quite proud of this look. I did an extended shape and silver too. It was basically done with my new Wet n Wild palette, Shimmer The Night Away.

Eyeshadow: neutral shimmer & green liner

This is a very easy look, done on purpose so I could give this amazing eyeliner a go. It's called the Tarte Skinny SmolderEYES pencil and it's in a gorgeous shade of green. I teamed it up with neutrals from the Too Faced The Return Of Sexy palette and Smashbox Love Me palette in Entice Me. This was so easy to do because the shadows and lovely and smooth, and therefore easy to blend. The liner is one of the softest liners I've ever used and the metallic finish of it in awesome.

Nails: OPI The World Is Not Enough

A nail polish post at last! I've been lazy since I got back from my trip, but I'm so eager to try out my new polishes, that I finally got off my butt and tried one of my new additions. I started with a colour that's a little different for me: The World Is Not Enough from OPI's Skyfall collection. It's been a really long time since I've worn an OPI polish, but that's not intentional. I forgot how good they are.
