Eyeshadow: Make Up Store eyedust in Demon

A few weeks ago, Make Up Store in the Broadway Shopping Centre, Sydney, had a VIP evening. I only got a couple of things, one of which was a eyedust (loose eyeshadow) in the colour Demon. The eyedusts retail for $32, which is a lot, but everything was 20% off at the VIP evening, which made it more palatable.

I'm now sure if you can tell from these pictures, but it's hard to tell exactly what kind of colour it is. Is it a gold? Is it a green? It kind of depends on the angle you look at it and the lighting. I don't even think the Make Up Store web site shows it accurately.

Worn over Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy.

Left: dry. Centre: over Urban Decay Primer Potion. Right: over Pixie Epoxy.

Regardless, I love it! It's an interesting colour and the formula of the Make Up Store eyedusts is amazing. They're super-fine, super-smooth and really easy to blend. I really like the packaging, too. The lid opens to reveal an inner lid (no mess!), which then opens to expose the eyeshadow through a small circular opening. It means travelling with these fellas is definitely doable.

Is it gold?

Or is it green?

All in all, I highly recommend Make Up Store's loose eyeshadows. Their pressed eyeshadows are lovely too, but that's another review. Although they're quite expensive, I definitely think that in this case, you get what you pay for: great-quality eyeshadow that looks amazing.
