Eyeshadow: dark blue sparkle

I'm a day later than I wanted to be, but as promised, today's look is using Revlon's Diamond Lust eyeshadow in Neptune Star. This time around, I used a sticky base and was able to avoid getting anywhere near as much fallout. It's such a lovely deep blue and the glitter ranges from green to blue and even gold (of course, you can't really see that in these photos).

Eyeshadow: dark grey sparkle

So the Revlon Luxurious Colour Diamond Lust eyeshadows have finally reached Australia. Correct me if I'm wrong, but these first made an appearance in the US last October. I'm pretty sure they also would have been less than the $20 RRP they are here. Anyway, the first one I have to show you guys is Night Sky (the other is Neptune Star).

Eyeshadow: Australis Double Decker

Today I'm showing off a new discovery from Priceline: Australis Double Decker eyeshadow in the colour Greenhouse Effect. These eyeshadows (there are about six, I think) come with a dark cream base and loose shimmer powder eyeshadow to go on top. Although it doesn't really look it in these photos, the base for this is almost black with gold shimmer in it. The loose eyeshadow is a super-pale golden green shade.

Nails: Revlon Scandalous, Orly Sugar & simple look

I'm a little behind on my posts once again, so I'll make this a two-for-one. Well, three, since I'm including a very simple look with it too. I'll start with the nails. Both of these nail polishes were applied over last week's mani, Ulta3 Enchanted. I got them both at Priceline on the same day and couldn't decide which one to try first, so I did one hand with the Revlon and the other with the Orly. Both are very different polishes.

Eyeshadow: more FFC looks

So I've been super busy he last few days with work and I've neglected you guys a little. To remedy that I've decided to add three looks into the one post! These are all using the newest eyeshadows from Femme Fatale Cosmetics. No need to waffle on, let's just get to the looks, shall we?

Eyeshadow: purple/green duochrome

Brace yourself, ladies and gents. Today I present to you the best duochrome eyeshadow I've ever seen and it's from none other than my local Femme Fatale Cosmetics! It's called Desecration and it's unbelievable. I've teamed it with another gorgeous FFC colour called Spirit Bond.

Nails: Ulta3 Enchanted

This week I'm wearing a completely random find: a $2 nail polish! It's Ulta3 in Enchanted, which is a very darg greyed-out purple with green shimmer. But it's much more than that. For those who don't know, Ulta3 polishes can be found in Aussie pharmacies in big bins, with random bottles just chucked in there. You really have to dig to find gold, but quite often you do.

Eyeshadow: golden orange

Today I felt like wearing gold. One of my all-time favourite Aromaleigh eyeshadows is Concrete Jungle, although I only have a teenty little sampleof it. Sparkling Luna is fixing that, though. Yay! I combined this with a darker golden brown and an orange to come up with this look.

Eyeshadow: best purple ever

Back to my favourite once again: purple! Not only that, but I combined some loose shadows with the Wet n Wild palette in Petal Pusher and I actually took photos at long last. Sorry it's taken me so long. I know I've talked about it, but here it is at last. I'll do another look using just the palette in the future. For now, take a look at its loveliness.

Eyeshadow: bright pinks

I felt like wearing bright colours, so I decided to combine pink with a hint of purple for this look. Of course, Sugarpill had to come to the party because let's face it, no one else makes mattes that are this bright (no, not even Inglot). The Urban Decay Deluxe Eyeshadow I used has a satiny finish, so the most shimmery part of this look was the Napoleon loose eye dust I wore on the inner corner.

We have a winner!

I'm sorry it's taken so long for me to get my act together and announce the winner of my giveaway. Rafflecopter has chosen Darcey P (aka femputer). Congratulations! I've sent her an email to let her know. Thanks to everyone who entered. I'm hoping I'll reach 200 followers in the near future so I can do another giveaway. It was fun!

Nails: Revlon Black Star & Sally Hansen Glitz Gal

I've finally done my nails again after being a little lazy recently. I got Revlon's Black Star (black with silver shimmer) at a discount shop in my local shopping centre for only $4! What a bargain. For those who aren't aware, Revlon nail polish retails for around $14 here. I then added Sally Hansen Glitz Gal over the top, which is one of the new Gem Crush nail polishes (the dark grey-looking one). I got that one for under $8 at Priceline, which has 20% off Sally Hansen this week.

Eyeshadow: green & greyish look

Today I gave my Sleek Storm palette a little bit of love. I kind of pushed it to the side when my Naked 2 palette arrived. Oops. Anyway, I gave it a go today and was really happy with the results, even if the look I came up with wasn't that exciting or different to the ones I've been doing lately.

Eyeshadow: burgundy & purple Venomous look

So I finally went ahead and added some much-needed colour to my life, but it ended up being kind of a dud. Not because the eyeshadows I used were duds, but because I applied my Pixie Epoxy unevenly. I'll let the horrendous pictures speak for themselves. That aside, I think the two colours I ended up using from Venomous Cosmetics (http://venomouscosmetics.com) make a great combo. I'll definitely wear them together again, I think.

Eyeshadow: WnW Blue Had Me At Hello look

It's taken me ages, but I've finally taken some photos of the Wet n Wild Blue Had Me At Hello palette, which I mentioned eons ago, it seems. I've actually used it quite a bit, but didn't really get the chance to take photos, given the limited time I have to get ready in the mornings. However, I've done it at last.

Eyeshadow: blue Venomous look

In my latest order from Venomous Cosmetics, I also got a few loose eyeshadow samples that I've neglected up until now. Today I've got two to show you guys, both shades of blue. I've gone a little nuts with the blue lately, but that's because it's a colour that I haven't worn enough in recent times.

Eyeshadow: Sugarpill Magentric two ways

As a special request, I wore Sugarpill's Magentric to work the other other day and then dug out an older set of photos of me wearing similar colours. I thought I'd upload them all so you can see how different Magentric can look, depending on the way you apply it. May as well get the crappy out-of-focus pictures out of the way first.
I can't really remember what I used here, but it looks like maybe a mixture of browns in the crease, most likely from the Urban Decay Naked palette. If that's the case, the brow highlight is most likely Virgin. However, I can say for sure that Magentric is applied over Pixie Epoxy. My eye shape looks different to normal because I did a soft liner along the top with no wing!
