Today's black and purple look is once again thanks to the lovely Sparkling Luna, who sent me generous samples of Sugarpill's Hysteric and Stella Chromalust loose eyeshadows. You all know how much I love Sugarpill and these colours are no exception. Both have gorgeous sparkle to them, too.

So here's the second Wet n Wild eyeshadow palette, the Fauna palette. I have to admit, this one looked kind of scary to me in the palette. It's mainly that Browbone shade: surely it's way too green for the browbone? Turns out it's not and the whole palette is lovely, but that certainly wasn't my impression at first glance!

This is another look using the goodies from my swap with Sparkling Luna. I've got a Darling Girl Cosmetics loose eyeshadow, an Yves Rocher pencil and a Catrice wet/dry pressed eyeshadow. I'm in love with all of these and I'm really happy with how the look turned out overall.

I've been a bad blogger! I've been using a bunch of goodies from the swap I did with Sparkling Luna, but I haven't posted any of it yet! I'll start with two products from brands that I've never used before: Yves Rocher and Catrice.

So now it's time for a nail post. In my recent Nails Etc order I got Zoya Tru, which is a lovely medium purple creme with reddish shimmer. I really like it, but I wish the shimmer was more apparent. You can only really see it when the sun hits it or at certain angles. Still, the base itself is a stunning shade of purple. After about five days (sorry, that's when I finally got around to taking photos, so my mani looks nasty), I had some serious tip wear, which is why I added Be-Jeweled, one of the new Gem Crush range of Sally Hansen polishes. Absolutely stunning and blingy, but boy was it a pain to remove!

I had more time to do my makeup this morning so I went all out, doing an almost rainbow look. I like how this turned out. There's some Inglot, Lime Crime and Femme Fatale Cosmetics in there. This look actually came about because I realised I'd neglected my Inglot pigment when I was dishing some out in a baggie to send to Sparkling Luna for our swap. I just added whatever I had lying around and this is what happened.

Ugh, another painfully hectic week over at last! So glad it's over. It's meant yet another week of neglect for both my blog and all of yours, but I'm hoping this won't last and I'll be able to stay on top of things. So today I've tried out the first of my giveaway goodies. It's the eyeshadow palette from the Wet n Wild Flora collection. I can't wait to try out the nail polish in this set. It looks amazing!

This has been a long time coming, but I've finally taken photos of myself wearing all the colours from the right-hand side of the Wet n Wild Blue Had Me At Hello palette. This palette is awesome. I love the looks both sides of the palette create, so next is to mix and match them.

I recently did a small order from Nail Etc (www.nailetc.com) and couldn't wait to give my first magnetic nail polish a go: China Glaze Instant Chemistry. It's cool concept that's yet to hit Australia. Instant Chemistry is a deep burgundy shimmer, with a pink-coloured pattern drawn out by the magnet. I really love the colour.

This is somewhat similar to a look I did a while ago, only the purpose of today's look it to show off the lid colour, Acidic Reign from About Face Cosmetics. This is the best dark teal eyeshadow ever! For this look, I've used eyeshadows that I've already shown before, so I didn't bother taking more photos of them because I was feeling a little lazy. That won't become a habit, I promise.
